Our story
The restaurant overlooks over the Grand Canal, a few meters from the Rialto Bridge. La Porta d'Acqua offers Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the Campania and Venetian traditions. The menu is various and bounded to the seasons with a particular care in the dish. Pleasant cocktail bar area with garden and canal view with revisited signature cocktails and spritz. You can book an intimate room on the first floor for special events.
The Location
La Porta d'Acqua is well known by Venetians and non-Venetians, this splendid reality of Venetian catering now moves a few meters and gains an incredible view of the Grand Canal. The restaurant overlooks over the Riva del Vin, a few meters from the Rialto Bridge and is housed in a 15th century building finely restored with a contemporary taste and style. From the splendid internal rooms (one on the first floor, which can also be booked for events, private parties, business dinners) to the magnificent outdoor area. From the splendid garden where you can enjoy drink at the cocktail bar counter, everything in this place is thought out down to the smallest detail. Extremely easy to reach from any direction, La Porta d’Acqua successfully combines the quality of its dishes with an unordinary location.

At the entrance to the restaurant, a large balcony introduces the pleasant bar area that embodies two - equally - captivating faces: tasty bacaro from morning to early afternoon; refined cocktail bar with signature cocktails and tempting revisited spritzes created by the skilled hands of bartender. The perfect place to take advantage of the delicious cicchetti and croutons and complete your magnificent dinner with an original drink.
